Here is an original 1930s VINTAGE  (The serial number is N445037 and is hand stamped on the cranks housing. FUN fact, the 5 appears to be stamped upside down!) men's 1930s HIAWATHA Eagle cruiser bicycle with 26" wheels. This has that cool "Zep" or "Fastback" style frame that people love! With the insanely high price of gas (and the economy being bad) now is the time to ride a cool vintage bike!
*Mens prewar non Schwinn bikes are steadily gaining popularity and are hard to find!
This is the perfect starting point for an amazing bicycle!
*This bike has a cool design mens cruiser style frame with original dark red, white and blue trim paint, (whats left of it) truss rod forks, original EAGLE brass headbadge, long spring cruiser style seat, (needs resto, flips up at the rear) wide cruiser handlebars, comfortable white hand grips, unique skiptooth chain and sprockets,
full deep fenders, (have dents) front fender mounted headlight, (no lens etc)  COOL chainguard, Torrington pedals, Miller? kickstand, and more! The more you look at the frame design, the more you will love it!
The frame design is VERY unique and has a great look! This bike has SO MUCH POTENTIAL! These almost never come up for sale and are very unique! Add up the value of the parts! There is much more here than you think and it comes in one complete package! If you have always wanted a Shelby Air-flo or a Hiawatha Eagle, this may help fill the void and not break the bank! Add a tank and this one would be over the top amazing!
This is a cool Wisconsin "barn find" but is actually an operable bicycle! It comes apart easily for shipping.
*The tires are 26x2.125". They are vintage Schwinn Typhoon Cord tires and do hold air.  The bike has vintage raised center rims front and rear with a New Departure rear hub!
*The bike is an original SINGLE SPEED with coaster brakes. (pedal slightly backwards to stop the bike)
*DIMENSIONS The stand over height is approx 31". The distance from the floor to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 28 1/2". The distance from the center of the crank to the top of the seat post clamp is approx 18". The center of the handlebar stem to the center of the seat post is approx 24".  (a little longer than most regular frames) The bike will accommodate most any rider comfortably. The seat height is easy to adjust.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it. We did not really do any detailing to it. It would need a total resto for show or enjoy it in its cool unrestored "rat rod" type patina!  The chrome would need resto to be show quality. (see pics) Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to). There is a little wire put on long ago to hold the rear hub brake arm in place. I was going to replace it but it looks right at home on the bike and I am sure was installed decades ago! I checked the pedals, seat post, and the neck. It comes apart easily for shipping. NOTE the neck/stem is actually broken in the middle underneath. It mounts tightly in place and you would never know but I like to be honest. Replace or use it like it is. If you click on any of the pics they get very large to show lots of detail.

*This appears to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted. A great bike to ride on relaxing days through the park or to the beach. This starts reasonably with ABSOLUTELY NO RESERVE so bid early and don't miss out! These are getting to be hard to find in any condition and to my knowledge, have not been reproduced.
*Sold as is simply because it is used. I try my very best to describe as accurately as possible and disclose anything I am aware of about the bike. PLEASE NOTE that many of the bikes I list have listed have been in long term storage and have not been regularly ridden in a while.(not a bad thing) They may need standard tuning, greasing, may have old tires, surface rust etc. I try to be as honest as possible and never want to disappoint anyone. If you have any questions regarding any specific things concerning the bike, please feel feel to ASK via emali before you bid. Keep in mind you are bidding on a 30+ year old bike that is not a brand new bicycle so it may need minor tuning, cables or cable adjustment, if tires are original, they may or may not have sidewall cracks, etc. I try to be as honest as I can and disclose anything I know about the bike. I want you to be happy with your new vintage purchase but please understand the bike may need some tlc to be road ready.

*NOTE REGARDING SHIPPING YOUR BIKE Your bike will be partially disassembled and shipped to you in a factory bicycle box. We try our best to package the bicycles carefully to avoid any unnecessary damage caused in transit however, scratches etc are possible to happen in transit which we have no control over once shipped. We try to package well so the bike arrives to you in the same condition as it left us.
*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.
*PLEASE NOTE, I WILL NO LONGER BE SHIPPING FULL SIZE BIKES OUTSIDE OF THE USA. This is due to the high cost of shipping and customs. If you are anywhere outside the lower 48 States including Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico contact me before you bid as shipping will cost more. Fed Ex just increased the rates. I can ship to AK, HI, or PR for approx 9.95. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing. This i the best deal I can get to ship to these locations.

PAYMENT TERMS:
Paypal is Ebay's accepted form of payment. Items are shipped every Tuesday and every Friday. Payments received by Monday generally ship on Tuesday. Payments received after generally ship on Friday.
SHIPPING TERMS:
SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment. (Wisconsin residents ONLY add 5.5% sales tax.)
