1957 Schwinn Corvette Bicycle very original 26"

Description

1957 Schwinn Corvette Bicycle very original 26". Serial Number is CC37802 which decodes to 5/01 1957. The Sturmey 3 speed date code is 56 11 what I believe to be manufactured at November of 1956. it appears to have the original Schwinn front tire which is in bad shape. The whole bike needs to be restored. The bad is that the left brake handle, chain, grips and rear tire looks to have been replaced. The seat stitching is unraveling, the front brake spring is broken and the pedals are broken and will need to be replaced. If you replace the spring it looks like it would work. Since he tires are flat and coming apart I did not ride the bike. The wheel spun fine and I did pull the shift cable and it shifted to all 3 gears. Id' still lubricate it and adjust.
