It must have sat for sometime because I had to clean some surface rust from the chrome. That special tank with headlight is in good condition. The inside is remarkably clean. It does not appear to be cracked. The lens, bulb and switch are there The grey part of the light has been repainted. There is some rust here and there on the chrome. Some of the paint on the sides of the fenders is coming off. The paint on the chain guard is weakening some. The saddle has some tears. The coaster brake hub works. The wheels are true enough. The old tires hold air. The bike looks appropriate for its age. It is in the condition people like them today. This bike can be ridden. You might want better tires. The bike looks good after all is said and done.

    Description

This is an Evans 400 Viscount 26" middleweight girls bike.
    Serial # EO19663626 so I believe it is 1966.
The tank and headlight unit is plastic. It is original to the bike because there are mounts on the frame which hold it. I have never seen another of these and I have seen a lot of bikes.
A collection of 50s and 60s girls bikes was auctioned near me recently. This came from the collection. All of the bikes were unique. He had this because of the tank and light.
Evans bicycles have flat sides on the fenders. This has the flat sides on the fenders.
It has a nice pattern in the chain ring.
