Here is a UNIQUE MURRAY "Confetti" banana seat bike with 20" wheels! (Early 80s I believe. The Serial number is M08 51 330, I believe made in 1980?) Murray and Huffy made numerous COOL models in this era. This is the very first one like this I have ever seen!  This bike is from the era when most everything was cool! (the HEMICUDA, Mach 1 Mustang, and Camaro Z-28 come to mind!) Murray seemed to do quite a few UNIQUE bikes of this era. They did not make a lot of them and few survived. This is a great representation of bike you would see on the street at this time!
*This one has a cool original pink and white factory paint and decals frame, original screen chainguard, (I have never seen this exact model) cool sissy bar, front fender, and so much more! The "Confetti" theme is unique with bright colors and is super cute! This bike is cool and I dont know where you would find another like it!  The bike is an original single speed with coaster brakes. (pedal backwards slightly to stop) Has a cool style banana seat. This one has chrome raised center rims front and rear. Both front and rear tires hold air. I BELIEVE this bike to be mostly original parts from when it was new. (see pics and be your own judge)
*Ride it, restore it, or display it! I got it just like you see it and think it is very cool!
*This bike came from a local in rural Wisconsin. The man who had it let his grandkids cruise it around. They had a blast with it. Now, they are grown up so its time for someone else to enjoy it!
*My wife was born in 1980 and rode a blue Murray "Confetti" as a child! She thought it was so cool to see this bike! I personally have never seen this exact model.
*The non Schwinn muscle bikes have gotten HOT lately! Schwinn Stingray Krate bikes are rare... you will see MANY of them before you EVER see another bike like this! Best part... it is MADE IN USA!!! The non Schwinn muscle bikes (Murray Eliminator, Sears Screamer, Huffy Rail etc) have really gained a lot of popularity in the last couple years. Take good care of this and it will only go up in value!
*Now is your chance to own one of the COOLEST bikes EVER MADE!  Make someone in your life happy with this one. This is a cool bike that you can enjoy for years! It is money in the bank and will only go UP in value! You RARELY find these bikes anymore!  They were all abused and thrown away back in the 1970s-80s. Finding one these days is a big challenge. If you check out Ebay, the selection on any 1960s Stingray bikes is very little. They are very cool and people enjoy owning, riding, and displaying them! Most people do not sell these bikes once they have them. This is a truly RARE FIND! I hope you love it! I believe this to be a fairly nice original unmolested bicycle unless otherwise noted.
*NOTED FLAWS I got this one just like you see it.  ! I LOVE the original cool paint and decals. (The paint has chips, scratches, etc) Many people love this look or restore it!  The chrome is shiney but is not perfect show quality. Both wheels have a slight wobble when you spin them. (most every used bike out there seems to) Rear fender is missing. (remove the front, use it like it is, or find a rear. They are not expensive) Have the cutest vintage around! This is a good basis for something GREAT and wont break the bank! People will LOVE it!  A good investment that will only go UP in value! Sorry, no buy it now is offered. People will ENVY you when you ride by at a car show or on the street with this bike! Sold as is because it is used. I try to list anything I notice with the bike. Keep in mind this is a vintage bike that has probably not been ridden for a while so it may need minor tuning, bearings greased, polishing, etc, These bikes are getting harder to find and are more popular than ever before! You will enjoy owning, riding, and displaying it for years! People always remember these bikes but seldom see them in person. Your new vintage bike will be shipped partially disassembled in a factory bike box. I take them in to have them packaged so they almost always arrive in the same condition as they left us. You may want to consider insurance, just in case. Once it has shipped, I cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items without insurance.
*SHIPPING TIME I ship bikes on Tuesdays and Fridays via Fed Ex. Generally, if I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Monday, it allows me enough time to get your bike to the shop for packing and to ship along with the Tuesday AM shipment. If I receive your payment by 1 pm central time on Thursday, it gives enough time to have it packed and ship Friday AM. If paid after that time, please expect it to go out with the next shipment.
*SHIPPING COSTS: Fed Ex, USPS, as well as UPS have recently raised their shipping rates due to the higher cost of fuel. Sorry for the slight increase in shipping costs.
*PLEASE NOTE, I WILL NO LONGER BE SHIPPING FULL SIZE BIKES OUTSIDE OF THE USA. This is due to the high cost of shipping and customs. If you are anywhere outside the lower 48 States including Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico contact me before you bid as shipping will cost more. Fed Ex just increased the rates. I can ship to AK, HI, or PR for approx .95. This is a 10+ day service and includes packing. This i the best deal I can get to ship to these locations.
