  • Condition: The bike was purchased at auction from a collection. The collector did a good job of cleaning without over cleaning. He kept things mostly original. Original paint has some scratches and some rust. The graphics are still pretty nice. The factory painted rims have quite a bit of rust through the paint. The saddle is not original. Carlisle tires are old but good for showing. Delta Winner Light in good condition. Some rust on the tray. Looks like it might work. Chrome has some rust but mostly clean. A dent in the lower front fender near the rivets. The hub shell has dried grease on it that has not been cleaned. The bike look nice. It looks appropriate for its age. This is how people want these bikes now. Repainting and rechroming are not popular like 15 years ago. The bike looks sharp and correct for its age except for the saddle.

    Description

    This is a Ross Custom Deluxe girls balloon tire bicycle.
    The serial number is 5623471. I can't find a Ross serial #  chart. My guess is early 1950s
    The most desirable thing about this bike is the rocket with smoke rings and Saturn on the chainguard.

    Ross was a New York City built bicycle and later Allentown PA.
    I have shipped hundreds of bicycles and will be able to pack and ship this properly. I charge what it costs. Fed Ex is the most reasonable.
