ES Prov Saxe Hand Painted 4-Lobed Tray w/ Handle

Description

This is a beautiful tray with a handle,
approximately 8 5/8" x 7 7/8", 1/2" deep, 1 1/2" tall with the handle. Fine translucent porcelain.
Four-lobed shape. Iridescent glaze with beautifully hand painted pink flowers. Gold trim on the rim and gold covered forked handle. Unglazed on the underside.
Made by Erdmann Schlegelmilch in Suhl, Thuringia, Germany and accordingly marked with the "Prov Saxe" mark as used between 1902 and 1938. Also bears the signature of the artist "E. Wood".
In excellent condition, no chips, no cracks, no repairs.
