Description
This is a unique war club in great condition. Where the stone would normally be, there is ahand carved
warrior’s head with a Mohawk made of fur. The right side of the face has a hairline crack and that looks like a battle scar. The bottom end of the handle is wrapped in leather with a circular opening which has attached feathers, fabric and leather. There is a leather strap for hanging. The Mohawk is fur and fabric and feathers are attached. The wood is solid and a
light
brown color. The head and wood shaft are all from the same piece of wood. I think the decorative metal bits are copper o
r
brass.
The handle length including the top of the head is 25 ¼ inches. The additional feathers, cloth and leather add about 12 ½ inches in length. The head is roughly 5 inches deep.
All of this and a nice looking wooden stand too which has a leather tie on it. It is 21 ½ inches tall. The base is 7 3/16 x 7 3/8 x ¾ inches.
The base comes off with 3 screws for ease of shipping.
