Description
New “Pair” of engine mounts for a 273 V8 car. These are rubber insulators that are exact as originals as they come for the original manufacturer. Under exclusive agreement, we have produced another run of these and are listed here at below retail price. I think we are the only ones now selling these - even your local NAPA does not carry them any longer.Note - the alignment pin (depending on the year production of your vehicle) may not quite fit in the alignment hole on the engine bracket. IF this is the case for your specific bracket - the simple fix is to slightly drill out larger the hole on the engine bracket - we are talking very small. The other option to to take engine mount alignment pin to your bench stone grinder and take off one edge of the round flat pin ever so slightly the amount needed to fit. Again - 75% of the time here no issue - but if you do have an issue the alignment pin has less than 5% of it just not quite fitting into the hole on the engine bracket so you can grind down that one side edge - 2 second job and it will fit fine. We have experienced this more on the early brackets we believe than the later ones...or it could be a supplier issue to one plant and not to others back in the day - we can't quite figure out why we have no issues on a majority of the brackets but a few here and there pop up that the alignment pin is just every so slightly off to not fit into that hole in the bracket. Since all engine mounts are made from the same tool and in the same batch run - it is not a production issue on the engine mount - and like we said it is the exception rather than the rule.
