    Description

    LOW START BID! You are bidding on the postmortem tintype as described in the listing title and as seen in the 5 photos. This tintype was produce quickly after the death of the boy on the left. You can see the prop behind him and his arms are tight to his torso where he is being held up under the arms. His legs are crossed to help aid holding him up The boy on the right who we assume is is living brother has no prop behind him and his arm is resting on the column but you can see under his right arm. Checks are colored rosey on both boys. Classic and professional photograph tintype for its time. Post Mortems like these were taken very quickly after death before decomposition and discoloration took hold. Photos are a huge part of the item description which can describe and show this piece far better than I. Photos show and tell best.
