This listing is for a set of two (2) Prov Sxe E.S. Germany porcelain dishes, including a celery dish and bowl. These antique pieces are coordinating with similar hand-painted, bucolic scenes that are a true celebration of nature! Both compositions feature foggy sunrises over lakes with blue birds flying overhead and trees in the foregrounds. The scenes depicted in these porcelain artworks are exceptionally executed, and represent the high-quality that Erdmann Schlegelmilch factories were known for throughout the early 20th Century.
Excellent, preowned condition with no cosmetic damage. Each piece is marked on the underside with "Prov. Sxe. E.S. Germany, Hand-painted" in green, which denotes production circa 1920's.
