    If you are a Civil War photo collector, then you will want to consider this thermoplastic Union case in near mint condition. This particular case is in the more desirable black color. In addition, the case contains the original manufacturers labels, the working latch system and matching felt rails to hold two of your Civil War period tintypes or ambrotypes
    . The case would be perfect for either a Union soldier and his wife or other family member. An excellent antique condition case to present two of your Union sixth plates in need of a spectacular housing. I have sold two other single image cases with the same patriotic motif recently, but double compartments are even more hard to find in this amazing condition.     Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The sixth plate patriotic case contains tight hinges, the working clasp, matching rails and the original labels. The only flaw I can find is a tiny hairline crack seen at the exterior area of where the case snaps together. Other than this case small imperfection, this case is in mint condition. I will ship this item to the winning bidder carefully packaged by Priority Mail.
