vintage cosmopolitan ginger doll / paper doll /case. Condition is "Used".
I’m pleased to offer for sale this vintage pair of Cosmopolitan Ginger dolls with a vintage trunk and wardrobe and accessories all dating back to 1956-57. Here's what we have, a honey blond Ginger doll, 8” tall, hard plastic walker body with a vinyl head, rooted hair, blue sleep eyes they open and close, but one sticks a bit, molded lashes, full red lips, rosy cheeks and light curved brown brows. She wears her tagged plaid dress ( it has been altered to fit her it probably originally was for Miss Ginger ) She is in good condition (minor face fade and a couple of marks on face barely visible ) a full head of hair styled in a bun . Next we have a dark hair Miss Ginger 9.5” tall with high heel feet , also with the hard plastic body and vinyl head. Her facial coloring is slightly pale with full coral lips, cheek blush, curved brown brows. Her green sleep eyes open and close with molded lashes intact, however, the one eye sticks a bit. She wears the "Ginger “ tagged plaid dress . She is in good condition ( with some purple colored ring around the waist probably from being stored in a outfit) . We have the grey and white stripe with red trim cardboard / wood trunk with a drawers. Trunk is in very good condition inside and out with minor wear . Also included are several tagged accessories ( 2 pieces of luggage/ purse / booklet / Ginger dollars / 7 outfits/ Little Golden paper doll book ) The book is in pretty good condition ( the paper doll is cut out as is some of the clothes, but most are present) The clothes and accessories are in various condition with some stains / repairs/ mends , remember these are mostly items that are at least 60 years old . All shoes and accessories are included ( the stands are for display only ) This set is just charming and will make a terrific addition to any vintage doll collection!
