Vintage All Original Chicago Schwinn Twinn Tandem 2-speed Cruiser Bicycle w/ Bendix brake. We have owned this 50 year old tandem bike for 30 years and its been loved. Its all original and just needs a little love to shine again. The color is the classic root beer brown. This bike has been a great ride to the farmers market, taking young kids on the bike on the back, rides along the waterfront with the sun on your face. For the last 7 years it has been covered in storage, tires hold air and brakes and mechanics of bike are all in working order. Yes you see some rust and dirt but most of this will clean up with a good scrub and rub. Located in San Francisco in the flat part of town. This bike is ready for a new owner to enjoy this schwinn tandem and all the head turning style that comes with it.
Ideally this would go to a local buyer but we can arrange shipping. Bike will be disassembled for shipping: Everything but the cranks, chainwheels and chain guard will be removed from the frame and carefully packaged with frame in a 60x26x8" box (sized for most affordable shipping rate)..If your interested in different shipping options, please contact me before your purchase. Ball park price estimate to ship (bike weighs 49 lbs) appears to be 5.00 but we can discuss and research options to determine whats best.
