    Description

    WW1 studio photo circa 1916-1918 or so of an American soldier of the rank of lieutenant. He has two metal insignias on his collar including one which is comprised of two crossed rifles & some other elements. A handsome soldier with a mustache in his crisply pressed uniform. The soldier's name is penciled on the back. But we are not able to read his name.
    There is a small surface scuff at the front left border. The back bottom edge has a line of paper residue from probably originally being attached to a folding studio portrait mount. The size is 6 15/16 inches by 4 15/16 inches.
