WWI Armed Doughboy RPPC, Fresh Recruit With Springfield?

Description

Selling some photos for a friend.  Here's a nice armed doughboy photo, wearing a mounted cartridge belt and holding a 1903 with front sight cover.  No bayonet in his scabbard so let's hope he hadn't lost it.  Since he's not wearing collar disks let's assume he's a raw recruit.
Only condition issue is the slight ding to the lower right corner.
